A Royal Cathedral Wedding

One of our 2013 weddings came to us as a referral from a fellow wedding planner, and turned out to be one of the most memorable of the year.  Kyra and Flint are one of the sweetest and most pleasant couples we had the pleasure to assist.  And, Kyra's mom was so  awesome, and totally fun to work with.  I still get compliments and well wishes from her, and  value the relationship we developed during our planning process.  

Kyra and Flint are both Roman Catholic and wanted to celebrate the full Catholic mass, so the beautiful historical St. Paul's Cathedral in Birmingham, Alabama was the perfect setting.  The splendid, towering arched ceiling and stained glass of this cathedral provide its visitors with such a glorious, majestic feeling that to celebrate a marriage here is a magnificent occasion!

Guests enjoyed dinner by Yellow Bicycle and dancing to the music of Just a Few Cats at the reception.   The gorgeous and delicious cake s were done by Julie Hendrick from Sweet Magnolia.
